Just a thought for you all...

Is it just me, or did anyone else see the similarities between this Spielberg movie and one of his previous movies - Independence Day?

Similar human characters... similar locations, including an Area 51 like location, use of Morse codes and trust me the list goes on. Whilst I enjoyed the movie a lot more than say 'War of the Worlds' I couldn’t help but get the feeling Spielberg was letting me down by showing me a poorer version of what he had previously showed me in 1996.

Real fans will stick with the original cartoon movie.
