bmw 3 series and audi a4
The 2010 Audi A4 is appealing to a wide variety of luxury-car shoppers. The styling on the A4 is taut and clean both inside and out. It is available with quattro all-wheel drive creating a smooth ride and easy handling on many road surfaces. The avant wagon utility is also a nice addition as is the improved interior and backseat design found in the newer A4 line.
The A4 is not without its shortcomings, however, starting with the Artificial steering feel with the optional Drive Select system. The Drive Select system is an expensive unnecessary distraction that most drivers will probably do better without. Audi does not offer the dual-clutch gearbox in the A4 line, a decision that leaves it without the gearbox functionality that many drives loved. The backseat, while roomy, sits low, which may be a complaint for some passengers.
Many drivers consider the BMW 3 Series to be the best overall driving experience in its class and it remains the gold standard among mid-size sport sedans. The BMW 3 Series has the responsive, smooth, and refined design that is expected form BMW and which sets it apart from ither vehicles in its class. There is no mistaking a BMW on the street. It also offers a firm but absorbent ride, and the excellent handling and responsiveness that is also expected from BMW. The interior features supportive front seats and a roomy front cabin.
BMW may have over though the controls, as they not as straightforward as they could be causing unnecessary distraction for the driver. The wide center console may prove unwieldy for some, and narrow footwells can cramp legroom for taller riders. Like the A4, the BMW 1 series has issues with its back seat. It has a tight backseat with space that may be uncomfortable for larger riders.
