What’s up with Essex Web Site Design?

Well I have decided that I want to rank highly under the keywords ‘Essex Web Site Design’ and why shouldn’t I? After all I am a Web Site Design guy from Essex!

First off, no real offense to anyone, but most of the guys who rank well for Essex Web Site Design in Google seem to be lacking in some serious skills and are portfolio-ing some seriously weak looking sites. So I figured I should enter the market and offer up what I do.

Excluding paid links

Continuing the paid links discussion, lets try and be positive and see the benefits of excluding paid links.

A big article called 'Discount or Ignore Paid Links' has been written by SoloSEO (and can be seen here). The article argues that the entire purpose of search engines is to give users the most relevant search results available, results not influenced by tactics or games! I half agree with this comment - of course users want the most relevant results, but surely when referring to tactics or games, he means marketing!

The good, the bad and the paid links

Most of the talk in the SEO world at the moment seems to be about paid links. Ever since Matt Cutts (the guy who heads up search quality for Google) came out with “Sites that sell links can lose their trust in search engines.” it seems the SEO world has been locked in debate.
